Puparazzi has joined with the Outer Banks SPCA in their mission to make adoption the first option.
In the store, you can buy a star which is personalized with your pet's name. They will be displayed in the store
throughout 2010.
$1 donation = Gold Star
$5 donation = Yellow Star
$10 donation = Red Star
$20 donation = Blue Star
The Outer Banks SPCA
- is contracted to run the Dare County Animal Shelter
- helps make spay/neuter services affordable
- offers temporary shelter to pets of domestic violence victims
- offers free info and temporary tags to visitors to the Outer Banks
- Needs volunteers to walk or play with the shelter residents
- gladly accepts donations of pet food, toys & treats
- can use your newspapers to line crates
Money raised by the Walk of Fame will be used to support the new spay/neuter initiative, POPCORN!! (Pet Over
Population COmmunity Response Network) This program will assist those in financial need with the cost of spay/neuter
surgery for their pet.
If you can't come to the store, you can still buy a star and support the shelter. Send your donation to the
shelter, and specify that it is for the Walk of Fame fundraiser. They will tell me which type of star to put your pet's
name on, and I will get it up immediately. If you send your e-mail address as well, I will e-mail you a photo of your
pet's star!
