Our First Friday Parties:
The Town of Manteo holds First Friday celebrations the first Friday
evening from April through December. It runs from 6-8pm, and offers live music and other fun activities for families.
Stores stay open late, and often offer special sales for the event. Many stores offer refreshments, as well.
Puparazzi! has thier party from 5-7pm. There is always a costume
contest for that month's theme, refreshments for people and pets, and games (weather permitting, they will be outdoors in
the grassy area in front of the store).

Our only party of the year with a "cover charge",
we ask you to bring a donation of food, toys or
cash for the Outer Banks SPCA to help the
homeless pets!

July 2: Paw-triotic Pups
This is NOT the night of fireworks
downtown, so
no worries about noise! Your
dog can have fun
expressing paw-triotic pride
August 6: Paw-rate Party
Dogs & owners have fun dressing
up in pirate
attire for this party!
September 3: Bark 2 School
Dress your pup in bark 2 school
best. Prizes are
given for the dogs who show off
their best "sit",
best "down" and best trick!
October 1: Bark or Treat
Our 4th annual Halloween Party
for the dogs!
November 5: Barksgiving
Thanksgiving themed party.

Downtown Manteo & Christmas
pageant on the
Courthouse Stage.
The Pawgaritaville Parties:
We thought it wasn't fair for the dogs that visit to miss out on
a party, so we offer one each Thursday afternoon from 2-4 pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The highlight of the
party are the frosty "pawgaritas" served to the dogs in their own pawgarita glass. We also have an island themed costume
contest, and games (weather permitting), including a pool for the dogs to cool off in. We also offer refreshments for
the people.

Fourth Annual Pet Photos with Santa
This event is a fund raiser for the Outer Banks SPCA. A donation of $5 per dog is requested.
Your pet will be photographed with Santa, and the best photo of the session will be printed
out on 4x6 photo paper for you.
If you would like, I am happy to e-mail you all the photos from the session with Santa, or
if you provide a blank CD, they can be burned onto that for you & picked up later.
100% of your $5 donation goes to the Outer Banks SPCA to help homeless animals during the holidays!
2010 Dates are:
November 20 (the Saturday before Thanksgiving)
November 27 (the Saturday after Thanksgiving)
December 11 (the Saturday after the Christmas Parade)
We DO recommend appointments, so your pet does not have long to wait. We start taking
appointments on November 1st, call the store at 252-473-2094 to schedule!

pet something while you are there! Most of the downtown stores are happy to have your leashed, well mannered and DRY
pet stop in to shop with you.
